In the Upper-room, our gracious Jesus said that there were many mansions or dwelling places in His Father\u2019s house. Many think of this only as Heaven. I do not want to fault them.<\/p>\n
I will only add that, Jesus Himself taught on two different occasions that, Heaven is God\u2019s Throne, not necessarily God\u2019s house \u2013 See Matt. 5:34; 23:22. And, there is a difference between a throne and a house.<\/p>\n
Beloved, God is too big to be contained in any place. You may be contained in Heaven. But Heaven, the earth and the whole Universe cannot contain God; because they all actually exist \u2018in God\u2019. God can only live in Himself, i.e. in Jesus Christ \u2013 Col. 2:8b-9,<\/p>\n
\u201c…and not according to Christ. For in Him (Christ) dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;\u201d Wow!<\/em><\/p>\n Beloved, God lives in Jesus as His house. The Greek word translated \u201cdwells\u201d in our quote means \u2018to house permanently\u2019. So, God permanently resides in Jesus. In fact in Jn. 14:10, Jesus asked the apostles in the Upper-room: \u201cDo you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me?. The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works\u201d<\/p>\n In verse 11a, Jesus went on to say: \u201cBelieve Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me…\u201d. Halleluiah!<\/em><\/p>\n So, the Scripture says God lives in Jesus and Jesus lives in God. Yes, the Godhead resides in each other and therefore cannot be separated. That is the ultimate Kingdom-status that God wants to put you back into \u2013 where you cannot be separated from the God-class.<\/p>\n Yes, God wants you to be in Jesus and Jesus in you. He wants you to be in God and God in you. Our dear Lord Jesus Christ wants to be one with you, just as He is with the Father \u2013 Jn. 17:20-21,<\/p>\n \u201cI do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.\u201d<\/p>\n If you are a believer, begin to see yourself in Jesus Christ. Begin to consider that where you live is where God permanently resides as well. Wow! This is life-changing. Humbly see yourself as \u2018part of God and God as part of you\u2019. Hallelujah!<\/p>\n In other words, see yourself swimming in God\u2019s powerful spirits and dispositions whiles on earth.
